Scheduling -
Evening show from 8-11pm every Sunday

Target audience  The target audience for the radio show are men and women aged 18 and above. That are part of the BC1C2 category. This is the ideal target audience for me because this is the widest audience across inner Sheffield. However Adding content for A would be good for appealing to all university students bringing in more expendable income which means that there are more people selling ads for people in this audience.

key personnel
Young presenter that has and sounds knowledgeable about the underground English grime.  The hosts will be Isaac and Tom I decided to do this since both people are very good friends. I think this will be represented through the chemistry in the show. Making for a casual relaxed chatty show, this will be perfect for a Sunday evening. Other crew members I may need for the radio production are as follows. Chief engineer, Maintenance  engineer, Music director and a station manager. All these people are necessary for hosting a successful radio station.

audio assets :
The audio assets I will be using for the radio production are sound effects, jingles, and music tracks, bedding music. My show is an evening show so will be using loud, upbeat sound effects that accompany give aways and special announcements along with mellow/ upbeat underground music. My jingle will medium paced, clear and catchy to let the people know what show they are tuned into. I want the jingle to be a female voice as it will add contrast to the male hosts and won't get lost translation.

health and safety :
  • Tripping over wires - This can be resolved by cable organisation
  • Electricity hazards - Drinks and liquids should stay out of the studio to prevent any electrical fires and damage of equipment.
  • Electrical shocks are a big hazard. But this hazard could be easily controlled by making sure all the equipement is correctly wired.

  • Fire is a general risk for any job that uses alot of electrial equipment. This hazzard can be easily avoided by following proper safety protocol
Equipment :

OBS Studio softwear
OBS is a High performance real time softwear that is capable of recording audio and streaming it live.

The green highlighted text are the final alterations to my script from my teacher feedback from draft 3 and the yellow highlights are sound fx.

The style of my script would be 'Talk Show', since it has two hosts conversing back and forth about music, giveaways and competitions. The content of the show consists of underground grime/ English rap music and talking points, competitions, adverts for local events and taxi companies and a feature that promotes small local artists, this section is called 'Ice box'. Taking inspiration from Charlie Sloth's 'Fire in the booth' section on BBC 1Xtra.

The genre of writing is informal, peer to peer, this will synergise with my young target audience of 16-25+ this takes any leadership roll and makes it more of a friendly conversation involving the community. This script was written by me (Isaac Parker) and was written to have a second host 'Tom'.
